Chefs Nour and Ammar Abbara
Chefs Nour and Ammar Abbara are Syrian brothers who have worked together most of their lives. Nour, the elder borther was born in Homs, Syria in 1984 and Ammar in 1988.
They moved to Cyprus a few years ago to work with their uncle at the Syrian Restaurant in Limassol which is run as a family business. Following their studies, they began working in 2003 and gained experience by working in busy, traditional restaurants in Syria.
They are especially interested in promoting Middle East cuisine which is similar to Cypriot cuisine. They thrive on the intense individual pressure but also enjoy working with their team.
