Chef Dragan Dzaja
Serbian Chef Dragan Dzaja was born in Novisad, Serbia and is currently Creative Chef at the Aperitivo Jet Set Lounge Restaurant.
He began his career in 1994, after finishing his Culinary Studies in Novisad, Serbia. He travelled to the United States of America where he continued his studies at the Culinary Institute of America.
He gained important experience by working in Greece for two) years in busy and traditional restaurants and in 2007, moved to Cyprus where he finalised his skills in many techniques.
He has also mastered his knowledge of Cypriot, Greek, Japanese, Italian, Serbian, Mexican, Chinese cuisine.
Following his return to Cyprus, Chef Dzaja has worked in some of Cyprus’ finest restaurants, including the Group of Restaurants of: EDEN SQUARE, specialising in the Japanese Restaurant: KAMAKURA, following the Mexican Restaurant: EL CHICO, following the Restaurant: LE CAFÉ in Nicosia, and at the present time: APERITIVO JET SET LOUNGE RESTAURANT.
He has the ability to work under pressure, with small and big groups of associates, preparing food for any occasion, (restaurant clients, parties, weddings, christenings, etc).
